West Cigarettes
West cigarettes are owed by Imperial Tobacco Group, a British company which is the fourth largest tobacco company in the world. It was introduced to the world only in the 1990's and now distributed to more than 100 countries. Though they are popular throughout the world they are especially popular in the European countries. West cigarettes were first rolled out in 1981 and at that time they were only available in Germany, and they were sold in retail shops only in mid 1987. After 1987 the brand was sold in vending machines, supermarkets and stores. This brand is the second largest selling cigarette in Germany due to its wonderful, smooth taste, flavor, aroma and the reasonable price they are sold at.
The fine quality of West cigarette is certainly due to the supreme quality of the American blend of tobacco that is used to make the cigarettes. The brand West is the title sponsor for the McLaren formula one racing team, it withdrew its sponsorship in 2005 after the European Union imposed ban on advertisement regarding tobacco products. The packaging of West Cigarettes is clearly based on the type of flavor or variety of cigarette that is bought. The packaging design is simple and stylish, a simple white band which has the company's name across it at the top of the box where it opens. There is the name of the variety and company logo in a matching color underneath the white band.
This brand of Cigarette comes in numerous varieties of flavors and styles. Some of the varieties are Silver (lights), West Red (full flavor), Blue (ultra), Rich Blue (medium) and West Ice. Apart from these there is also the West Stream Tech which has a special "stream tech" filter which allows for the largest amount of kick while still filtering out some of the impurities.
